The SSQ4 HPA Magazine: Built for Consistency

If you've been running an HPA SSQ4, you know the appeal—reliable, consistent performance that takes a lot of the guesswork out of your loadout. But the magazine is where that consistency really starts. The standard HPA magazine holds 125 BBs and is engineered specifically for the pressurized system, which means it handles 0.40g BBs without hesitation. That's a heavier round, and not every mag feeds them cleanly, but this one does the job.

What strikes us about this magazine is how straightforward it is. It's lightweight polymer—you're not lugging around extra weight—and it's purpose-built. There's no cross-compatibility with the Gas version, which might seem like a limitation at first, but it's actually a sign of design clarity. The HPA system and Gas system have different demands, and trying to force one magazine into both roles usually means compromises. This magazine doesn't compromise.

For players who've committed to the HPA platform, having a reliable 125-round magazine that you trust to feed consistently is foundational. It's not flashy, but it's the kind of gear that lets you focus on what actually matters—your game, your tactics, your team. Sometimes the best equipment is the kind you never have to think about.
